Growing partnerships

This session will discuss strategies for creating and maintaining the relationships that lead to successful public, private and international partnerships. Representatives of networks and centres will share best practices on how to ensure current partners remain engaged while also attracting new Canadian and international partners to the organization.

Defining and demonstrating performance and impact

All networks and centres face the challenge of translating their strategic plan into action. It is not enough to achieve those goals, however – the resulting impacts must also be communicated to various stakeholders and audiences. This session will look at both the theory and practice of collecting the right data to measure and report impact and progress towards strategic goals/outcomes, making an important distinction between success and the appearance of success. It will include helpful tools that are designed to stimulate high levels of performance in organizations. Participants will also have a chance to share best practices with their peers.
