Statement on the passing of Irene Sterian

The NCE recently lost a highly regarded member of its community.

Irene Sterian passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Irene is the Founder of Refined Manufacturing Acceleration Process (REMAP), an NCE-funded Business-Led network since 2014. The NCE Secretariat had the pleasure of working with Irene over many years in her capacity as President and CEO of REMAP. Irene is remembered as an engaged member of the engineering community and for her dedication to helping others.
