Strengthening an Electronics Manufacturing Ecosystem for Canada

The Networks of Centres of Excellence is pleased to announce its renewed support of $10 million over 5 years, to the Refined Manufacturing Acceleration Process (ReMAP).

Renewed funding for ReMAP was awarded through the Business-Led Networks of Centres of Excellence (BL-NCE) program. The BL-NCE program funds large-scale collaborative research networks that bring a wide range of research expertise to bear on specific challenges identified by an industrial sector. Budget 2018 announced the consolidation of the Centres of Excellence for Commercialization and Research (CECR) and the BL-NCE programs with the Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF). During this transition, ReMAP will continue to receive its funding through the BL-NCE program.
