Funding allocations are reviewed and revised throughout the
life cycle of each network within the NCE program. Budgets
and funding levels for new networks are set by the Steering
Committee and are based on recommendations by the Selection
Committee. Existing networks undergo reviews at the midpoints
of their seven-year terms to make sure they are meeting the
NCE program objectives. Networks that are leaving the program
can apply for Research Management Funding (RMF) to help them
transition into sustainability.
